I sent this picture to the Aquarium Advice Forum today, asking if this was the sort of habitat that rams prefer. I got one response and it was a confirmation. It's really just coincidence that I used the flat rocks to hold down the driftwood. I wish the other pieces would sink. They really aren't flat enough to drill into a piece of slate, so my choices are to use Jerkface's wood or to wait it out. The other wood matches this piece here.
It has the same wavy lines running through it. I really should use those pieces. Until they sink, I'm outta luck. I don't even think a rock would sit on top of them. Perhaps I could use fishing line to hang a rock below them.
Also thinking I may put my sword, the big one, in the new tank. I don't know. That's a thought. It's grown into a lovely specimen.
