I Rotated The Log

It's a cold, boring, rainy day. I don't feel well and I have high anxiety. Rotating the log was...something.

It seemed like the lines of the wood were drawing the eye right. Now it sort of seems like they're drawing the eye left. None of my driftwood is a dream piece. And that long one in the back? Ugh. I don't know what to do with it. It's obtuse.

Meanwhile, those brown rocks have to go. Gag.

Anyway, the loaches like the log with the hole. Function over form. I suppose.

Edit: Somebody stop me.

Actually, this is an improvement. Each time I put my damn hand in the tank it's an improvement. That tall driftwood on the stand was unnatural-looking. The more I think about it the more I want the plants to be the focal point of my tank. I do wish my driftwood was all the same color, though.

Meanwhile, I've ordered a tank divider for Jerkface and the guppies. Chunk is even chunkier than he was a few hours ago. Perhaps Jerkface needs a test run in the big tank. I wonder how Bleu Betta would do in the small tank. Perhaps worth trying.
